South Carolina-grown actor, writer, director Simeon Daise is no stranger to the entertainment industry. As a child, he starred in Nickelodeon’s hit television show, “Gullah Gullah Island,” alongside his family.

Since then, he has spent his time developing his skills as an actor, screenwriter, director, and singer/songwriter while studying under the tutelage of legendary actors and directors, with his parents as primary influencers. He also has continued to remain a constant fixture in television and has made appearances in hits like Tyler Perry’s “The Haves and the Have Nots”; BET’s “The Bobby Brown Story”; and most recently on BET’s “American Soul” where he played Reggie Michaels, a revolutionary gangster.

Aside from television, Simeon has performed in stage productions throughout Georgia and the Carolinas. As an adult, he is driven to define himself and his work through “changing the narrative.”
